A well-established transportation company is looking to fill a diesel mechanic position. Applicant must have a good driving record. This person will be responsible for overall maintenance and repair of class eight tractors and trailers. Must have knowledge with Diesel and CNG engines. Must be able to troubleshoot and correct all aspects of tractor and trailers. Including R&R transmissions, differentials, water pumps, starter, alternator and belts. Experience with Cummins Insite is a plus. Person needs to be brake certified and have knowledge in wheel hubs and bearings. Applicant will be responsible for keeping work area clean and neat. Duties will include maintaining inventory, repair orders and assigning work to other employees as needed. Benefits include medical, dental and vision.
