Description Robert Half has multiple Accounting Assistant opportunities available to support our clients in the government sector! These San Marcos-based roles have an opportunity to be a permanent position based on performance in the contract role. Major Responsibilities:
Processing accounts payable, match and review vendor invoices against POs
Attain AP approvals
Matching, Batching, and Coding
General understanding of G/L Codes
Credit card reconciliations
Data entry and review
Create and review weekly AR Aging report
Communicate with vendors regarding outstanding receivables
Retrieving mail, scanning documents as needed

Experience supporting A/P, A/R
Any experience with government organization, municipality, government contractor
Strong customer service abilities
Comfortable with phone and email communications
Experience with complex approval process, invoicing
High attention to detail and accuracy
Strong communication skills
