We currently have an opening for a Maintenance Technician at our student property, University Club Apartments, located in San Marcos, Texas. This is a full-time position reporting directly to our Area Property Manager.

What You Will be Doing
⢠Responsible for making apartments move-in ready for new tenants
⢠Repairing and installing sinks, commodes and facets
⢠Repairing and installing drywall
⢠Caulking and painting
⢠Maintaining inventory for cost effective operations
⢠Repairing and replacing appliances
⢠Installation of water heaters
⢠Basic HVAC repairs
⢠Monitor gauges, trash, pets, and property common areas
⢠Flexibility to respond to calls and requests from tenants, which may include evenings and weekends
⢠Responsibly for completing work orders from The Property Manager
⢠Daily upkeep of grounds, landscaping and common areas
⢠Complete other projects and activities as assigned by The Property Manager
What is Preferred for Success
⢠Positive attitude and strong work ethic
⢠High School Diploma or GED
⢠Maintain a high level of customer service
⢠Ability to work independently with little to no supervision
⢠Act with integrity
⢠Strong decision maker
⢠HVAC certification/experience preferred
⢠Make ready experience
⢠Electrical and plumbing experience
⢠CPO certification is a plus
⢠Excellent attention to details
⢠Exceptional organization/multi-tasking skills
