Sika is looking for experienced Maintenance Technicians to join its growing team in the Sealy, TX area for its roofing business. All shifts are available.The Maintenance Technician is responsible for ensuring the safe, reliable, and efficient operation of automated manufacturing equipment and facility systems within a PVC production facility. This position performs preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on extrusion lines, automation systems, material handling equipment, utility systems, and facility infrastructure. The Maintenance Technician works closely with Production, Engineering, and Quality teams to minimize downtime, improve equipment reliability, support continuous improvement initiatives, and maintain high standards of safety and product quality.Perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on PVC extrusion lines and associated downstream equipment.Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and automated control systems.Diagnose equipment failures using schematics, technical manuals, PLC diagnostics, and maintenance tools.Repair and maintain motors, gearboxes, bearings, conveyors, pumps, compressors, blowers, chillers, vacuum systems, and process equipment.Inspect, maintain, and replace tooling, dies, calibrators, cutters, and other extrusion-related components.
