Job Description: The Program Manager will lead and manage an end to end Hospitality cloud migration program to the Google Cloud Platform (Google Cloud Platform), responsible for coordinating overall planning, execution and delivery.
Requirements:
Proven experience in e-commerce application cloud migration program management (managing multiple complex projects within programs)
10+ years related experience, 5+ years leading and managing IT projects/programs
Sound knowledge of both IT software development and project management methodologies
Proven stakeholder management and strong relationship building skills
Excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail and follow-up
Exceptional analytical, problem solving and decision-making capabilities
Ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize, meet deadlines, ensure quality and maintain flexibility in a fast-paced, service oriented environment
Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills
Knowledge of software development lifecycle
Experience in working in both Agile and waterfall environment
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
Responsibilities:
Lead teams of technical and business experts in the planning and execution of Hospitality cloud migration efforts
Coordinate and align schedules across client’s Hospitality Solution’s product development, product management, platform operations, and customer and partner delivery organizations, Client’s Technology Enterprise Operations, and Cloud Migration program teams
Support program planning and monitoring of objectives, scope, resources, budget, schedule and reporting progress against objectives
Drive execution of plans and enforce accountability by key stakeholders
Drive alignment and adherence to standards and direction set by the adopted operating model
Proactively remove barriers that prevent efficient execution of deliverables and formulate mitigation plans to address program risks
Provide thought leadership and direction on assigned program ensuring disciplined execution and continuous improvement of program management practices
Build solid working relationships within the company and with external partners
Accountable for creating, managing and delivering a multi-year Hospitality Service and Application cloud migration schedule in coordination with domain program managers to ensure all integrations, dependencies, and business priorities are incorporated into the migration plan and release schedule
Manage weekly Services and Application Cloud Migration Scrum of Scrum meetings with domain Program Managers
Ensure transparency and accuracy of task and feature data in Rally tool
Conduct joint Client/Google working sessions to document “Go to Green” action plans
Establish and manage program level risk management plans
Manage updates to weekly program status report
Ensure accurate critical enabler (dependency) information and status, jointly aligned with abre/Google stakeholders
Additional Assets:
Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to influence others at all levels of the organization, including executive-level audience
Experience in using SDLC tools supporting Agile environment (Rally, JIRA etc.)
Working knowledge of Synxis central reservation system
