Description We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for a Business Intelligence (BI) Consultant in Spring, Texas. This role involves leveraging business intelligence tools and strategies to develop, maintain, and manipulate data visualizations, dashboards, and reports in the professional services industry. Responsibilities: Utilize Power BI and other technologies to design, develop, test, and deploy scripts for detailed analytics. Engage with business users to understand their requirements and develop functional specifications accordingly. Strive for performance tuning, improvement, balancing, usability, and automation of data management tasks. Develop visualizations and reports for requested projects and other information needs using Power BI. Ensure the integrity of data used for analysis through thorough processing and cleansing. Create and update technical documentation regularly. Maintain report forms and formats, information dashboards, data generators, canned reports, and other end-user information portals. Employ best practices in data visualization and provide guidance and training to end users where needed. Leverage strong analytical skills for data modeling tasks. Monitor customer accounts and take appropriate action when needed. Requirements Must have a strong understanding of BusinessObjects Technologies Experience with Cognos Business Intelligence is required Proficiency in Database management and Data Visualization Knowledge of EO/IR systems is essential Familiarity with AB Testing methodologies Strong analytical skills with a focus on Analytics Prior experience in a Business Intelligence (BI) role Understanding of Business Intelligence Technologies is necessary Ability to create and manage Business Requirement Documents Must possess excellent problem-solving skills and a strong attention to detail Excellent communication and presentation skills Ability to work in a team and independently Must be able to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively A proven track record of meeting deadlines and delivering results Strong project management skills are needed.
