Internal Reporting Manager

Description A growing oil and gas service company located in Southwest Houston is looking for a Manager of Internal Reporting. The Manager of Internal Reporting will lead the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and as needed analyses for internal management reporting. Job duties: Provide management with accurate and timely consolidated and disaggregated financial information Responsible for standardized periodic reporting (e.g., rig statements, revenue and cost analytics) Coordinate process and reporting changes with operations accounting and other functions Coordinate with overseas shared-service personnel, previous experience in an organization with shared-services model a plus Participate in month-end close process Manage internal controls relative to the function Provide reports/audit schedules as requested by other departments (e.g., External Reporting) Prepare audit schedules and respond to inquiries by external and internal auditors Assist in the preparation of the management’s discussion analysis section of the 10-Q and 10-KIdeal Candidate will have:Degree in Accounting or Finance, CPA preferredUnderstand and apply GAAP and SEC guidelines8+ years of experience in financial statement preparation and general ledger accountingdirect experience preparing management reporting analyses in a corporate environmentExperience with analyzing financial information in a multi-national environmentHighly proficient with Microsoft Office applicationsFirm understanding about how to leverage reporting tools and automationKnowledge of major integrated systems - preferably some or all: SAP, IFS, OneStreamWorking knowledge of Power BI, HFM and IFRS preferred This is a hybrid opportunity.Compensation is up to 130K plus bonus.For Confidential consideration please forward your resume to karen.amoroso@roberthalf.
