Description Exciting opportunity for a Controller in The Woodlands, Texas, United States. As a Controller, you will be instrumental in ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of our financial reports, managing cash flow, preparing financial statements, and identifying opportunities for process improvement. This role is crucial in our finance department and will have a significant impact on our organization's financial health.Responsibilities: Lead and manage the month-end close process, ensuring accurate and timely reporting of financial results. Oversee account management, including daily monitoring of cash balances and bank reconciliations. Manage ACH/wire transactions, ensuring proper authorization and compliance. Supervise Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) functions, ensuring efficient processing and accurate reporting. Monitor and manage cash flow, ensuring the organization has sufficient liquidity to meet its obligations. Prepare and analyze financial statements in accordance with GAAP, providing explanations for variances from budget and prior periods. Develop and prepare financial reports and presentations for the Board of Directors, providing insightful analysis and commentary on financial performance. Identify opportunities for process improvement across the accounting and finance functions, implementing best practices and streamlining processes.
