Sr Field Service Technician - Electromechanical & PLC Controls Location: Southeast Region (OK, AR, TX, TN, LA, MS, AL, GA, FL, NC, SC) Join Honeywell Intelligrated – a global leader in warehouse automation and material handling solutions. We’re seeking a skilled Field Service Technician to provide top-tier support to our customers’ distribution centers and production facilities. You’ll travel extensively (up to 95%) to install, maintain, and troubleshoot a variety of electromechanical systems, including conveyors, robotic applications, sortation systems, palletizers, and PLC controls. Install, service, and troubleshoot electromechanical systems and PLC-based equipment (Allen Bradley, Modicon, etc.)
Provide on-site customer support, including emergency service calls, maintenance, and equipment upgrades.
Use your expertise to program, modify, and debug PLC code and robotic applications.
Train and mentor field service technicians on equipment and controls.
Develop and submit detailed service reports, including program updates and drawings.
Work independently and with teams to complete projects efficiently and on time.
YOU MUST HAVE
3+ years of electro-mechanical field service experience.
High voltage electrical experience.
Valid Driver's license.
WE VALUE
Technical degree and/or certifications in industrial maintenance, electrical, electronics or similar.
Conveyor systems maintenance experience.
Excellent communication, problem-solving, and customer service abilities.
PLC troubleshooting skills (Allen Bradley and other PLC systems).
