About this role:Wells Fargo is seeking Lead Software Engineers to join Development Enablement organization within Chief Technology Office (CTO) to architect, design, and develop the developer experience (DevEx) platform in align with technology trends.In this role, you will:

Lead complex technology initiatives including those that are companywide with broad impact.

Act as a key participant in developing standards and companywide best practices for engineering complex and large-scale technology solutions for technology engineering disciplines.

Design, code, test, debug, and document for products.

Review and analyze complex, large-scale technology solutions for tactical and strategic business objectives, enterprise technological environment, and technical challenges that require in-depth evaluation of multiple factors, including intangibles or unprecedented technical factors.

Make decisions in developing standard and companywide best practices for engineering and technology solutions requiring understanding of industry best practices and new technologies, influencing and leading technology team to meet deliverables and drive new initiatives.

Collaborate and consult with key technical experts, senior technology team, and external industry groups to resolve complex technical issues and achieve goals. This a hybrid role (3 days in office) and not eligible for Visa transfers.

Lead products, teams, or serve as a peer mentor.

Required Qualifications:

5+ years of Engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education.

5+ years of experience in leading large scale technology transformation.

5+ years Full stack design and development experience with Java and React or Angular.

3+ years of experience in building and deploying microservices / APIs/Micro frontends.

3+ years of experience with Agile development practices.

Desired Qualifications:

2+ years of experience in developing developer tools & portals and improving developer experience.

3+ years of engineering experience with heavy focus on application modernization into Cloud ready /Cloud native application and services development into a hybrid cloud /multi-cloud eco system.

2+ years of experience in development /maintain and supporting enterprise grade shared frameworks and services with ability to operate through an enterprise level inner source model.

2+ years of experience in designing and implementing non-functional requirements (NFRs).

Deep technical understanding of core concepts, memory management, APIs/services, and Spring/Spring Boot.

Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.

Outstanding problem solving and analytical skills with ability to turn findings into strategic imperatives.
