This position will be located at our Aeronautics Systems sector in Palmdale, CA, Redondo Beach, CA, El Segundo, CA, Rancho Bernardo, CA, Camarillo, CA, Beale AFB, CA, Nellis AFB, or NV, Emerado, ND .The qualified candidate will become part of Northrop Grumman’s Systems Engineering Organization .The selected candidate will perform technical planning, system integration, verification and validation, cost and risk, and supportability and effectiveness analyses for total systems. Other duties include:

Develops new and/or integrates existing system simulation frameworks, performance models and algorithms, threat models and command and control models.

Simulates real-time operations and develops software that simulates behavior of systems.

Develops integrates and uses advanced graphical user interfaces and visualization tools.

Models operational environments, performs trade studies via computer simulation and recommends alternative architectures.

Performs operational analysis and mission effectiveness analysis.

Be completing or has completed their Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution.

Be majoring in or having majored in a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering or Math) degree.

Be able to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government security clearance (U.S. citizenship is a pre-requisite) as well as Program Special access within a reasonable period of time, as determined by the company to meet its business needs (U.S. citizenship is a pre-requisite). Final approved U.S. Government security clearance (U.S. citizenship is a pre-requisite) as well as Program Special Access may be required to start.

Be completing or has completed their Master’s degree from an accredited institution.

Preferred Qualifications

Have an overall cumulative GPA of 3.25/4.0 or higher.

Previous internship/co-op or other work experience, leadership & teamwork capabilities, interpersonal communication skills, and activities (professional/community/extracurricular)

Pay Range

Associate Systems Engineer : $62,200.00 - $108,100.00

Systems Engineer : $75,300.00 - $130,800.00

CampusjobsSalary Range: $72,100 - $108,100Salary Range 2: $87,200 - $130,800The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
