Continuous Improvement Consultant

Job Description:Through coaching and expertise, this position will assist frontline caregivers, managers, and other Continuous Improvement team members in executing improvement initiatives, creating a CI culture and adopting elements of the Intermountain Operating Model.Position Details:The home base for this position is expected to be at Utah Valley Hospital with one to two days a week travel to Park City and about once per month to Sanpete hospital for the current assignment.This role may be hired on at a level I, II, III or Senior, depending on qualifications. Incumbent will work Monday-Friday from 8am -5pm. There are times incumbent will need to work late and come in early. We expect the person to work on-site the majority of the time. There may be some on-call 24-7 a week at a time several times a year.Consultant I Minimum Requirements:

Bachelor's Degree obtained through an accredited institution.

Working knowledge of business operations including basic leadership, analytical and financial principles, concepts, and methods

Excellent computer skills including email, word processing, spreadsheets, and presentations.

Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills

Consultant II Minimum Requirements:

Bachelor's Degree obtained through an accredited institution.

Demonstrated experience in a process improvement role.

Working knowledge of business operations including basic leadership, analytical and financial principles, concepts, and methods

Excellent computer skills including email, word processing, spreadsheets, and presentations.

Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills

Ability to lead projects through an ambiguous, conceptual state to an organized deliverable

Consultant III Minimum Requirements:

Bachelor's Degree obtained through an accredited institution. Three (3) years of demonstrated experience in a process improvement role. Or Master's Degree obtained through an accredited institution with two (2) years of demonstrated experience in a process improvement role.

Working knowledge of business operations including basic leadership, analytical and financial principles, concepts, and methods

Excellent computer skills including email, word processing, spreadsheets, and presentations.

Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills

Working knowledge of the history, theory and practice of process improvement, including familiarity with a wide range of industry accepted process improvement tools and methodologies

Ability to lead projects through an ambiguous, conceptual state to an organized deliverable

Senior Continuous Improvement Consultant Minimum Requirements:

Bachelor's Degree obtained through an accredited institution. Five (5) years’ demonstrated experience in a process improvement role or Master's Degree with four (4) years’ experience in process improvement.

Advanced knowledge of business operations including leadership, analytical and financial principles, concepts, and methods.

Excellent computer skills including email, word processing, spreadsheets, and presentations.

Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.

Ability to teach the history, theory and practice of process improvement, including a wide range of industry accepted process improvement tools and methodologies.

Ability to lead projects through an ambiguous, conceptual state to an organized deliverable.
