We are seeking that lawyer who is a true problem-solver, one who possesses the trait to go beyond simply issue spotting. Individual contributor within Oracle's Supply Chain Legal Team who work reciprocally and creatively to provide effective and efficient legal support for Oracle’s hardware supply chain throughout the hardware product/infrastructure lifecycle, including complex multi-tiered development, software and hardware licensing, manufacturing, support and logistics transactions, global business operations, and supply chain-related regulatory and corporate social responsibility compliance. This is a remote position from with the United States, with a US Bar required.Responsibilities include:

Do you have experience in negotiating hardware development, supply, contract manufacturing, logistics, and technology licensing transactions?

Do you have an understanding on issues relating to hardware/product development, manufacturing, product quality, product regulatory compliance, corporate social responsibility, supplier disputes, legal issues and company policies and procedures?

Want to be a fiduciary support for hardware-related regulatory compliance and company policies?

Minimum of 5 years of experience with inbound commercial transactions and programmatic support relating to hardware IP, technology and manufacturing issues, and cross-border, multi-tier supply chain models.

Portrays a sense of enthusiasm, ownership, and personal commitment to individual, team, company and customer success.

Ability to implement internal corporate policies and regularly monitor compliance following the process.

Ability to influence others through coherent, clear, factual, and precise verbal and written communications, including reports and presentations.

Ability to create, track, and maintain various spreadsheets.

Ability to learn new issues and subject areas quickly, manage challenging priorities, maintain good judgment, sense of humor, and focus when working in a dynamic environment.

Ability to prioritize, schedule and plan effectively to meet company business and legal risks.

Ability to research and conduct legal analysis on complex and challenging problems as well as the changing regulatory requirements.

Ability to anticipate problems and obstacles before they arise and plans accordingly, including creating playbooks and guidelines to provide guidance on potential future issues, limitations or risks.

Draft and solidify agreements, contracts, and other legal documents.

Effective social and cross-organizational communication and collaboration skills.

Familiarity with cross-border contracting issues.

Infrequent international travel may be required.

Responsibilities#LI-KA1Job duties are varied and complex utilizing independent judgment. BA/BS degree or related experience and 5 plus years relevant legal experience. Completed law degree and member of bar association in relevant jurisdictions. Excellent legal skills and business judgment in areas of responsibility.
