Description We are offering a long-term contract employment opportunity for a HRIS Application Engineer in Salt Lake City, Utah. The selected candidate will be part of a dynamic team, working in a fast-paced environment, and will be responsible for managing HRIS platforms, understanding HR processes, and working with APIs.Responsibilities: Manage HRIS platforms such as Bamboo, HiBob, ADP to ensure smooth operations Understand and execute HR processes like payroll, benefits administration, time tracking, recruitment, and performance management Utilize tools such as Workato to streamline workflows and improve efficiency Work with APIs especially RESTful and SOAP APIs, to facilitate communication between HRIS and other systems Understand and manipulate data formats such as XML, JSON, and CSV for data exchange between systems Manage data transformation and data mapping between different systems Utilize SQL proficiency to query and manipulate data from databases Write complex queries to support data extraction, integration, and reporting needs Understand relational database structures, particularly in the context of HR data Identify root causes of integration issues, perform system debugging, and collaborate with vendors or IT teams for resolution Create and execute test plans, scripts, and test cases to validate system integrations Work cross-functionally with HR, IT, and external vendors to gather requirements, design integration solutions, and implement changes. Requirements A minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role, specifically as an HRIS Application Engineer Proven expertise in HRIS Implementation, demonstrating an understanding of various HRIS systems and their application Strong abilities in API development, with a focus on designing, implementing, and maintaining APIs Proficiency in REST Soap, showcasing the ability to handle web services and work with RESTful APIs Demonstrated experience in SQL Queries, with the capacity to write complex SQL queries and perform database troubleshooting.
