Human Resources Coordinator

Position Title: H uman Resources Coordinator Department: Human Resources and Administration Department Reports To: Communications and H uman Resources Manager FLSA Status : Hourly/Non-Exempt  Position Summary: ASM Global, the leader in privately managed public assembly facilities, has an excellent and immediate opening for a Human Resources Coordinator at the ASM Global/Salt Palace Convention Center and Mountain America Exposition Center. Under guidance of the Communications and Human Resources Manager the Human Resources Coordinator provides comprehensive human resources support, trains employees and ensur es HR policies and practices align with company goals. Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

Assist in developing and implementing HR procedures, training and initiatives that support the company’s culture and objectives .

Maintain accurate HR records, ensuring data integrity and compliance with federal, state, local, and company requirements through annual, quarterly, and monthly audits.

Oversee the reporting and completion of our online employee training modules.

Educate and assist in employee benefits programs, such as health insurance, retirement plans, and leave policies, and address employee inquiries.

Guide managers and employees on HR policies, procedures, and employment laws to ensure fair and consistent application.

Assist in the recruitment and selection process as needed .

Assist with job interviews when needed.

Support processing new hire paperwork in the HRIS system as needed.

Support the fingerprint security system for employees and vendors.

Conduct new employee orientation (benefits and policies/procedures)

Answer general questions and help employees/applicants with the Workday access portal.

Stay up to date on labor laws, regulations, and industry best practices to ensure compliance .

Participate in front desk coverage and responsibilities as needed.

Attend committee meetings and a ssist in preparing for a ll- s taff q uarterly m eetings, and employee engagement initiatives.

Manage and sustain the existing internship program.

All other duties, as assigned.

Experience , Knowledge , & Qualifications :

Proven experience in Human Resources or in a similar role, principles and practices is highly preferred.

High school diploma or equivalent.

Valid driver’s license or identification card

Ability to spend days at our additional venue in Sandy when needed.

Experience in HRIS systems, specifically Workday, ADP, and/or ABI preferred.

High level computer skills including but not limited to Microsoft Office, Adobe PDF, DocHub , and Outlook required.

Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively interact with employees, managers, and guests.

Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple tasks, projects, and deadline

Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive employee matters with professionalism.

Experience in creating and conducting onboarding and training programs and facilitating HR-related workshops desirable.

Experience and/or knowledge in event management a plus.

Bilingual a plus

Job Type: Full-time, 40 hours per week, In-Office

Wage: $2 2 .00 - $2 4 .00/per hour

Schedule: Monday – Friday (Flexible Start & End Times)

Create the billing plans for rentals and Equipment leases in SAP timely and accurately. Create the MFG and extended warranty contracts in SAP. Create and invoice bundled warranty contracts in SAP. Monitors contract performance of assigned region and assists with determining compliance with terms and conditions of the contract. Assist with internal and external audits as required. Assist with month end and year end close activities and related journal entries as required.
