As a Sr. Accountant, you will be responsible for performing a variety of accounting tasks, including processing financial transactions, maintaining accurate financial records, and ensuring compliance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP). Responsibilities: Conduct comprehensive reviews of financial statements, journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations, and account analysis Provide assistance in the coordination of month-end activities Support the controller in various activities such as bank reconciliation, borrowing base reports, and sales tax Collaborate with accounts receivable, accounts payable, and other departments as needed to resolve issues Participate in the development, implementation, and revision of financial policies, procedures, systems, and practices that form part of the company's internal controls Assist with recording daily and monthly transactional activities while adhering to GAAP and company's accounting policies Perform analyses, investigations, and reports on monthly financial statement results Work towards achieving optimal results, displaying problem solving and solution driven skills Exhibit high competency with accounting software, spreadsheets, databases, data extraction, and MS tools Show a strong understanding of GAAP and accounting principles, along with a high level of attention to detail Demonstrate the ability to communicate at all levels of an organization from end-user to senior management.Requirements Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role as a Sr. Accountant Proficiency in account reconciliation, balance sheet reconciliation, and bank reconciliations Experience with general ledger and journal entries Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel Experience with month-end close procedures Proficiency in MS Dynamics NAV and MS Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations Experience in financial reporting Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field preferred Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities Ability to work independently and as part of a team High level of integrity and dependability with a strong sense of urgency and results-orientation Knowledge of applicable laws, codes and regulationRobert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
