We are looking for part-time / full-time line cooks for all shifts.
Approximate hours:
Mon-Fri: 10am-2pm, 5pm-10pm
Sat: 8am-3pm, 5pm-10pm
Sun: 8am-3pm
Pay: $16-$19/hr.
Responsibilities
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook food items according to recipes and quality standards
- Assist in food preparation tasks such as chopping, peeling, and cutting ingredients
- Set up and stock stations with all necessary supplies
- Ensure that food is stored properly and at the correct temperature
- Follow proper food handling and safety procedures
- Clean and sanitize work areas, utensils, and equipment
- Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure efficient operations
Qualifications
Experience:
- Previous experience as a line cook or prep cook in a restaurant or kitchen setting is preferred
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices
- Ability to handle knives and other kitchen tools safely
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow recipes accurately
- Restaurant experience: Understanding of restaurant operations and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Kitchen organization: Ability to maintain a clean and organized work area for efficient food preparation
