Job Profile SummaryThis role focuses on the design, development, and implementation of information technology (IT) solutions in order to meet the organization's needs through new and existing applications, systems architecture, network systems and applications infrastructure and the management of the IT infrastructure. In addition, this role focuses on performing the following Infrastructure Support duties: Installs, configures, administers, supports, or maintains IT software and hardware systems, IT data/voice network systems, and internal databases. Ensures the uptime, performance, and resource availability of the computers and other IT systems; matches the organization's resources with the demand placed on them; monitors organization's wide area and/or local area network performance; identifies and resolves network problems; upgrades network hardware, software and telecommunications equipment including set up the servers, routers, cables. This job builds infrastructure and systems, maintain and troubleshoot Tier 2 problems. A professional individual contributor role that may direct the work of other lower level professionals or manage processes and programs. The majority of time is spent overseeing the design, implementation or delivery of processes, programs and policies using specialized knowledge and skills typically acquired through advanced education. An entry level role that applies broad theoretical job knowledge typically obtained through advanced education. May require the following proficiency: work is closely supervised, problems faced are not typically difficult or complex, and explains facts, policies and practices related to job area.Job OverviewSupport Citrix and AWS Infrastructure by providing operational support and management of Citrix Storefront, load balancers, and third-party applications hosted in AWS. Ensure the stability, security, and performance of cloud environments, including patch compliance, backup, restoration, and scaling of AWS resources. Coordinate new installations, vendor upgrades, business continuity plans, and perform operational tasks. Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, manage security, and maintain a high level of availability and performance across cloud applications and infrastructure.Job DescriptionMinimum Qualifications:

High School or equivalent.

One (1) year of experience in a cloud operations support position.

AWS Cloud Practitioner (CLF-C01) Certification or obtain within 90 days from hire date.

AWS Certified SysOps Administrator – Associate or obtain within 6 months from hire date.

Preferred Qualifications:

Associate degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.

AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate

ITIL Certification or relevant IT service management certifications.

PMP Certification, Project Management.

Citrix Certified Associate – Virtualization (CCA-V).

Duties and Responsibilities: The duties and responsibilities listed below are intended to describe the general nature of work and are not intended to be an all-inclusive list. Other duties and responsibilities may be assigned.

Provide operational support for Citrix Storefront, load balancers, and third-party applications hosted in AWS.

Manage AWS Cloud Hosted Application patch compliance, backup and restoration, and disaster recovery strategies.

Coordinate new installations, vendor upgrades, and business continuity planning for critical applications.

Scale AWS resources to optimize performance and cost.

Patch and backup strategies for refactor hybrid cloud for both AWS environments and on-premises data centers.

Ensure security and compliance for all cloud-hosted applications and infrastructure.

Coordinate and collaborate with hospital teams and vendors as required.

Implement monitoring solutions, troubleshoot and resolve incidents, and proactively identify and address potential performance bottlenecks, resource constraints, or security vulnerabilities in the cloud infrastructure.

Develop and maintain business continuity plans for Citrix and AWS environments and perform regular disaster recovery drills and failover testing to validate business continuity strategies.

Automate routine tasks to increase efficiency and reduce manual intervention.

Identify opportunities for cost optimization, recommending and implementing changes to reduce operational expenses while maintaining system performance.

Document and update system configurations, procedures, and best practices

Remain current on system updates, capabilities, enhancements, and best practices to continuously improve the performance, security, and scalability of the system infrastructure.

Physical Requirements:

Work environment: professional office environment with typical office requirements such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets, etc.

This is largely a sedentary role, which involves sitting most of the time, but may involve movements such as walking, standing, reaching, ascending / descending stairs and operate office equipment.

Frequently required to speak, hear, communicate, and exchange information.

Able to see and read computers displays, read fine print, and/or normal type size print and distinguish letters, numbers, and symbols.

Occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.

Knowledge of patch management tools and security best practices in cloud environments.

Citrix Administration skills.
