You’ll find a team that values diversity in our perspectives and approaches to make Azure the platform of choice for the 5G era.Our team is looking for a Senior Softeware Engineer who is searching for a challenge to design, implement, deploy, and monitor large-scale distributed systems in an agile environment. The Senior Softeware Engineer will participate in architecture and design of various components and ensure a timely execution of the features with high quality. The developer will own the component end-to-end, including testing, managing cross team dependencies as well as monitoring and alerting for the deployed component. The position will involve extensive internal and external collaborations with other Azure/Microsoft teams as well as customers.Microsoft’s mission is to empower every person and every organization on the planet to achieve more. Apply engineering principles for defining robust and maintainable architectures and designs.

Collaborate broadly across multiple disciplines from hardware designers to ML developers.

Help establish and drive the adoption of good coding standards and patterns.

Perform software development in C/C, Python, and other languages.

Identify requirements, scope solutions, estimate work, schedule deliverables.

QualificationsRequired Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, or related technical discipline AND 4+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python

OR equivalent experience.

Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include, but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings:

Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.

Preferred Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 8+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python

OR Master's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 6+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python

OR equivalent experience.

Software Engineering IC4 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $117,200 - $229,200 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $153,600 - $250,200 per year.Certain roles may be eligible for benefits and other compensation.
