We're looking to add a Prep Cook to our team! Duties include putting away orders, executing the days prep list with our prep team, doing dishes, keeping our kitchen clean, and keeping our walk-in and pantry areas clean and organized.
About us:
We are a bar and taqueria in the hearth of the Old North End of Burlington. We execute a small but intentional menu at a high volume. We have a small and tight-knit crew. Team work is fundamental to what we do. We are a One Fair Wage restaurant, meaning tips are shared with the Front and Back of House. Pay is very competitive, and Health Insurance is available for full time staff.
About the Position:
Our prep shift starts at 7am. Orders are put away, and then the days prep list is executed. The prep team is responsible for their own dishes, and for keeping the walk-in and pantry areas of the kitchen clean and organized. Once prep is done, the kitchen is cleaned for our night crew. This is a part-time position with the potential to be full-time.
The ideal candidate does well in the morning, is timely, clean and organized, and thrives as part of a team.
