Job Title: Part-Time Apartment Maintenance Technician

Job Summary:
We are seeking a reliable and skilled Part-Time Apartment Maintenance Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing a variety of maintenance tasks to ensure the cleanliness, safety, and overall appearance of our apartment complex. This role requires someone who is self-motivated, detail-oriented, and has a strong work ethic.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance tasks including but not limited to plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and general repairs.
- Conduct regular inspections of the property and identify maintenance issues.
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests from residents and management.
- Ensure all common areas are clean and well-maintained.
- Perform preventative maintenance on equipment and appliances.
- Assist with the turnover of vacant units, including painting, cleaning, and minor repairs.
- Maintain a safe and clean work environment.
- Communicate effectively with residents and property management.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Proven experience in maintenance or a related field.
- Knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Basic knowledge of tools and equipment used in maintenance and repairs.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
Work Schedule:
- Part-time hours with a flexible schedule.
- Availability for emergency call-outs as needed.
Compensation:
