Your Responsibilities

We are seeking candidates for a Maintenance Technician to support our residential property in Burlington, VT. You will join our maintenance team whose responsibilities include:

- Performing in-unit repairs and preventative maintenance.

- Completing work orders, light electrical, plumbing, and carpentry work, and general building maintenance.

- Performing janitorial duties and groundskeeping.

- Updating the work order system and communicating with the Superintendent on completed and on-going work assignments.

The work hours will be Monday-Friday 8:30-4:30 with on-call duties shared on rotation.

Your Qualifications

We are looking for someone with excellent communication skills and a strong customer service philosophy.

- Some experience in residential property maintenance and skills in areas like plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and HVAC are required.

- The ability to work as part of a supportive and cohesive team, as well independently, is required.

- The ability to communicate professionally by phone and email while using a smartphone app is required.

- This position includes participation in the emergency on-call rotation and snow removal.

- A valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle are required.
