Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Pest Control Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in pest control, lawn care, or related fields, and possess the skills necessary to effectively manage pest issues for our clients. This role involves working both independently and as part of a team to ensure the highest level of service and customer satisfaction. There is a huge chance for growth with this position.

Responsibilities

Conduct thorough inspections of residential and commercial properties to identify pest infestations and assess potential risks.

Develop and implement effective pest management plans tailored to each client's needs.

Utilize various pest control methods, including chemical treatments, traps, and exclusion techniques.

Operate and maintain power tools and hand tools safely and efficiently.

Provide excellent customer service by communicating clearly with clients about treatment options and preventative measures.

Maintain accurate records of services performed, including treatment details and follow-up recommendations.

Stay informed about industry trends, new products, and regulations related to pest control.

Qualifications

Previous experience in pest control or a related field such as lawn care, landscaping, or farm machinery operation is preferred. Must be able to pass State test or already be licensed.

Strong sales skills with the ability to promote services effectively to clients.

Proficient in using power tools and hand tools relevant to pest management tasks.

Knowledge of pest biology, behavior, and control methods is a plus.

Ability to work independently while also being a collaborative team player.

Excellent problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.

Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.

Pay: $21.00 - $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 10 – 20 per week
