Job Role In support of United States Air Force readiness reporting objectives for FY22 and beyond, we are seeking a senior-level Business Systems Analyst wi th specialized knowledge in reporting compliance, policy, and relevant leadership at Headquarters Air Force (A3TR) to perform exceptional data analysis and detailed requirements development duties. In this role, you will have the opportunity to help shape policy, forecast readiness shortfalls, and generate future requirements to address CSAF and SECDEF reporting requirements. You will also research and capture business needs and act as a proxy for the users and customers by interfacing directly with developers, subject matter experts, stakeholders, and testers to ensure the end-state functionality is acceptable in fulfilling the identified customer value. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are considered necessary, as you will regularly meet with senior military officers involved in plans, policy, training management, and readiness assessment. On the data side, you will work with appropriate organizations to identify relevant data sources as the primary liaison for Memorandums of Understanding/Memorandum of Agreement. You will be a key player in analyzing data for inconsistencies such as missing/bad data and support complex queries from data source partners or customers. The successful candidate will provide guidance and actively participate in requirements reviews and user workshops. Finally, you will coordinate with the DoD customer to communicate product status and alignment to the organization's needs. What You Bring to the Table Five years of experience as subject matter expert working with Air Force readiness and readiness reporting.

Must be familiar with policy, directives, and current top task items.

Ability to train readiness at multiple levels: leadership, MAJCOMs, Wings, Unit Commanders, Unit Admins, etc.

Effective written and oral communication skills to collaborate with customers, stakeholders, and an agile software development team.

Strong organizational, time management, and meeting facilitation skills.

Proficiency in MS Office Suite.

Desired:

10+ years of US Air Force experience

Knowledge of METL/SORTS readiness reporting policy

Expertise in current readiness reporting (to include UTC reporting) efforts strongly desired

Responsibilities As a Management & Program Analyst (Knowledge Management Technical Advisor), GS-0343-14, you will perform the following duties: Leads the establishment and oversight of NSF institutional vocabulary and data model (ontology) to be used for organizing and tagging knowledge artifacts to prepare the agency for smart search and retrieval and for the implementation of artificial intelligence and data-as-a-service. Serves as the agency authority to create and own the NSF policies and procedures relating to knowledge management & knowledge management technology. Represents top level leadership on complex matters involving knowledge management technology policies and procedures, involving both written and oral presentations. Serves as the project leader for Knowledge Management Technology and advises on technology architecture that accommodates NSF\'s knowledge management needs.
