job detailsThe Conference Coordinator is responsible for planning, organizing, and managing all aspects of conferences and events, ensuring they run smoothly, on time, and within budget. This role involves coordinating with clients, vendors, and internal teams to ensure the successful execution of events that meet the client's objectives.salary: $18 - $21 per hourshift: Firstwork hours: 8 AM - 5 PMeducation: BachelorsResponsibilitiesEvent Planning and Management

Develop and manage event timelines, schedules, and project plans.

Collaborate with clients to understand objectives, requirements, and budgets.

Identify and book suitable venues, accommodations, and other facilities.

Coordinate travel arrangements and accommodations for attendees and speakers.

Plan event layouts, seating, and signage to ensure an optimal experience for attendees.

Vendor Coordination

Source and manage vendors for catering, AV, technology, security, and other services.

Negotiate contracts and ensure services are delivered on time and to the required standard.

Oversee the setup, operation, and teardown of all conference equipment and materials.

Budget Management

Prepare and monitor event budgets to keep costs within the client's expectations.

Track expenses, process invoices, and provide financial reports post-event.

Identify opportunities for cost savings without compromising event quality.

On-Site Event Management

Serve as the main point of contact during events, troubleshooting issues as they arise.

Coordinate event staff and volunteers, assigning duties to ensure smooth operations.

Oversee event logistics, including registration, attendee support, and speaker needs.
