DescriptionWhat you’ll do as a Junior Subcontracts Administrator
Work with Subcontract teammates and Program Managers (PM’s) to determine subcontracting requirements and answer any questions concerning the required subcontract type (FFP, CPFF, T&M, etc.), and to facilitate the completion of all required backup documents to initiate and execute subcontract actions
Assist Requestors in filling out/creating the subcontract required documentation
Create and maintain official subcontract files with all required backup documentation
Assist Subcontract teammates in providing training to the PM’s and other division partners on subcontract requirements as needed
Provide support and/or requests for information to other corporate teammates, subcontractors, and auditors
Support any additional subcontract negotiations required by mods, etc.
Ensure that the subcontract is consistent with legal requirements, customer specifications and government regulations
Prepare and disseminate information to appropriate employees regarding subcontract status, compliance, modification, deviation, negotiation, and termination
Build positive relationships with division partners and subcontractors by maintaining excellent internal and external customer service standards
Assist in Small Business Subcontract Plan Reporting
Junior Subcontracts Administrator Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or equivalent; Associate’s Degree in Business Administration or equivalent plus one to two years of related experience; or No Degree with 3+ years of related experience
Ability to create and edit files in Microsoft Office, Adobe Acrobat, and Excel
Ability to multi-task and manage numerous subcontract request actions by specified due dates
Desire and interest in growing a career in Subcontracts Administration
Junior Subcontracts Administrator Preferences
Some knowledge/experience in FAR/DFAR requirements
Understanding the basics of negotiation and development of contracts
SharePoint experience
Some experience using Deltek and/or CostPoint
