Our Mission, Vision, and Values guide the way we do business.Leidos is hiring a Systems Programmer in Alexandria, VA to support a customer within the Department of Justice on Software Development and Support services. This role will support a unique opportunity to support and modernize our customer in the DOJ to enable their important mission to protect the United States. It is required to work full-time at the customer site in Alexandria, VA.The individual selected for this position will be part of a team of System Programmers supporting ECAS and .NET applications. The customer uses the .NET framework for a variety of internally utilized business process tools, Azure Dev Ops (ADO) for managing development efforts, and Service Now as a back-end service desk and ITSM application. Mission applications are currently hosted in the Azure government cloud. The customer uses the SCRUM Agile development methodology; the individual selected for this position will have the needed technical skills and knowledge to complete development tasks.Candidate selected will be subject to a Government Public Trust security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to the customer’s information. Current clearance is not required, but selected individual cannot start the assignment until the required security clearance is granted by the customer. This process is currently taking 10+ weeks.Primary Responsibilities

Support customer applications by making updates, responding to tickets, and developing solutions.

Define, document, and analyze software issues.

Resolve incidents escalated from the service desk.

Provide support for any upgrades, patches or configuration changes needed for the applications or platforms.

Basic Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree with 2+ years’ experience. High school diploma with additional years of experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.

Ability to obtain and maintain a public trust clearance from Department of Justice, prior to start date

U.S. Citizen

Experience with ASP.NET framework

Experience with SQL Server and design/architectural patterns (e.g. Model-View-Controller (MVC)

Experience in an Azure government cloud environment.

Experience supporting Agile efforts in a SCRUM environment.

Preferred QualificationsExperience with any of the following:

Development using C

Knowledge of the .NET languages (e.g. C#, Visual Basic .NET) and HTML5/CSS3

Architecture styles/APIs (REST, RPC)

Agile methodologies, troubleshooting and communication skills

REST and RPC APIs
