S. Government program within the National Capitol Region.Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Through subordinate program/project managers, lead and supervise the overall delivery of service support to; transport operations, maintenance management, change and configuration management, and deployment of transport infrastructure

Direct the practice of monitoring and controlling of project performance, to include metrics reporting, trends analysis, and project reporting to Government customers, ManTech leadership, and project/portfolio stakeholders.

Oversee staffing management, including recruiting, hiring, training, retention, assignments, and ensuring labor qualification and security clearance requirements are met.

Oversee and coordinate deliverables submissions to Government customer.

Assist the customer in strategic planning to include, but not limited to staff allocation needs, contingency planning and continuity of operations, budget forecasts and projections, planned costs to actual and verification of invoices prior to submission.

Publish a monthly PMO Online Newsletter to the respective customer communities highlighting successes, lessons learned, and upcoming events.

Provide task order highlights to the customer, as they occur, that depict major accomplishments, e.g., reaching a high level of customer satisfaction.

Act as a single point of contact to the customer.

Lead project initiation, planning, execution, monitoring and controlling, and closeout for projects according to PMI PMBOK® best practices.

Provide status reports/briefings to customer stakeholders upon request and in support of executive level meetings or briefings.

Assist with planning, scheduling, tracking, and reporting of operations work activities and change requests, including providing customer Task Managers with consolidated views of teamwork activities.

Assist customer Task Managers with conducting technical meetings, including, but not limited to, scheduling meetings, distributing meeting agendas, recording, and distributing meeting minutes, facilitating meetings, and tracking action items, issues, and decisions.

Assist customers with data entry of assets into the asset portfolio management system.

Demonstrated initiative, sound judgment, effective decision-making, leadership, strong work ethic, teamwork, and competent writing and oral communication skills

Ensure quality products and services are delivered timely and accurately

Basic Qualifications:

A Project Management Professional (PMP) certification

A bachelor’s degree in business, information technology or equivalent discipline

A minimum of (10) twelve years of experience in a related technical environment

A minimum of (5) five years of related management experience

Experience with developing and implementing continuous improvement initiatives

Strong organizational, planning, and management skills

Possess excellent communication skills and thought leadership

Strong presentation skills and excellent oral communication skills

Strong writing skills and the ability to distill knowledge and skills into visuals and other guidance for students

Position requires agility and ability to adapt to an ever-changing environment

Leadership in managing multiple projects that require collaboration with remote teams of SMEs and Technical staff

Security Clearance Requirements:

Must be a U.S. citizen

Must be able to obtain and maintain customer suitability

Physical Requirements:

Must be able to be in a stationary position more than 50% of the time

Must be able to communicate, converse, and exchange information with peers and senior personnel

Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a computer

The person in this position frequently communicates with co-workers, management, and customers, which may involve delivering presentations. Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations

The person in this position needs to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc.
