Demonstrates depth and breadth of system analysis process, techniques, and methodologies. Contributes to application design by defining needs and recommending solutions that will maximize the value delivered by the system to stakeholders. Determines how the project impacts other initiatives or business areas. Ensures projects meet the strategic goals/initiatives of the organization. Influences, persuades, and leads other team members and stakeholders to achieve project goals and objectives.This position will support our IT team and is eligible to work a remote schedule.Essential Duties & Responsibilities

Researches, designs, creates, documents, implements, and maintains SAP.

Leads and facilitates interviews and cross-functional working sessions to elicit requirements with the Product Owner, Business Analyst, and other business stakeholders to elicit and clearly define requirements.

Critically evaluates information gathered from multiple sources, reconciles conflicts, decomposes high level information into details, and distinguish user requests from underlying needs.

Converts business requirements into functional and software/technical requirements.

Captures non-functional and other system requirements (e.g., supported browsers, security, system performance expectations, etc.).

Produces deliverables as needed: (e.g., software requirements documents, use cases, use case diagrams, wireframes, workflow diagrams, process diagrams, and detailed user stories).

Provides significant input to system specifications and design.

Develops detailed knowledge/expertise in applications assigned. Analyzes system integration impacts and defines integration requirements.

Collaborates with developers to establish the technical vision and analyze tradeoffs between usability and performance needs.

Attends demos and reviews completed sprint development for accuracy.

Reviews detailed requirements with project manager/technical lead to ensure adherence to scope and level of effort estimations.

Estimates requirements gathering level of effort, develops business analysis work plans, and ensures quality and timeliness of deliverables.

Coordinates with Quality Assurance (QA) and the development team to ensure requirements are understood.

Participates in and/or coordinates required testing/validation of system fixes, which may include creating the actual test cases or reviewing test cases created by QA.

Serves as the key IT counterpart to the Product Owner or Functional Business Analyst jointly responsible for understanding, prioritizing, & defining continuous improvement requests.

Performs problem determination and resolution as part of system production support.

Provides guidance and mentoring to less experienced team members.

Ensures issues are identified, tracked, reported on and resolved in a timely manner; escalates and retains ownership of all open/unresolved issues.

Performs other duties as assigned.

Education & Experience

Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university. Computer Science or business related degrees preferred.

Five (5) to seven (7) years working as a systems analyst on SAP application development projects.

Experience with waterfall and agile software development methodologies.

Experience with supporting the Finance line of business.

Experience supporting both enhancement/support projects as well as new development projects

Must have strong PC skills and advanced working knowledge with Microsoft Office products, SharePoint and experience with requirements tracking software.
