Qualified candidates for this job must be eligible to obtain a DoD Secret security clearance. This position will play an active role in assisting multiple departments within the Administration Division and will be responsible for prioritizing and completing administrative tasks, writing and editing assignments, internal communication dissemination, desktop publishing, and other projects as assigned. ROLE RESPONSIBILTIES

Performs a variety of reoccurring and project specific activities in support of multiple departments including Communications, Quality, Security, Travel, and Facilities.

Supports the Corporate Travel Coordinator with travel schedules and government logistics for international travelers.

Assists the Director of Communications with internal communications including drafting and editing content, formatting, and sending or publishing content in accordance with the communications plan schedule.

Reviews and edits policies, procedures, and other internal documents for readability and adherence with corporate branding requirements.

Serves as a point of contact for employee questions relating to office operations and established policies and procedures.

Gather, collect, record, track and verify data and information from multiple sources for departmental data analysis and reporting.

Utilizessoftware to compile and generate reports, statistics, timelines, tables, graphs, correspondence and presentations.

Works on assignments that are semi-routine in nature but recognizes the need for occasional deviation from accepted practices.

Required QUALIFICATIONS

Strong writing/editorial skills with aneye for grammar and formatting

Excellent organization skills for managing files, processes, and approvals

Ability to compile metrics, prepare and provide monthly/quarterly/annual reports on time

Excellent interpersonal communication skills and the ability to support a diverse team

Able to independently prioritize and manage multiple tasks

Willing to learn and provide feedback on areas of improvements

Perform special projects as needed

Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance

4+ years of experience in a corporate setting

Experience with government contracts preferred

Experience with MS Office suite required, and an ability to manipulate Word templates and PowerPoint Slide Masters preferred

Experience with Adobe Creative Cloud including Adobe Acrobat, Illustrator, and Photoshop preferred

Strong oral and written communication skills required

High School plus advanced training

Must be eligible to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret security clearance.

Must be proficient in using different technologies such as computers and other tools and systems pertinent to the position.

TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS

In rare occasions, overnight travel may be required.

PHYSICAL ENVIRONMENT AND WORKING CONDITIONS

Cambridge International Systems complies with Temporary Duty Station (TDY)/Outside Continental United States (OCONUS) vaccination requirements. If this position requires OCONUS travel (listed above), Vaccine Recommendations by AOR | Health.mil lists applicable current vaccination requirements by location.

Office setting:

Must be able to work in an office environment, sitting at a desk, looking at a computer for most of the workday.

Work is physically comfortable; the employee has discretion about sitting, walking, standing, etc.

May be required to travel short distances to offices/conference rooms and buildings on site.
