Requires an active TS/SCI Security ClearancePosition Summary:We are looking for a Junior GEOINT Analyst,with experience delivering high quality services and products, who will use their technical knowledge, experience, and customer-centric focus to create and deliver world-class raster and vector products. This is a mission-driven opportunity to support the DoD and Intelligence Community.The GEOINT Analyst will coordinate with our clients to understand requirements, then determine the best method and approach to raster and vector production. This position will be relied upon for executing automated processes, developing new methodologies and workflows, conducting proper data file management, manipulating data and metadata, and resolving technical problems to help support the basemap production cycle.Responsibilities:
Support the production of raster and vector tile production formats
Provide data management support and employ best data management practices: document production process, scripts, and data, manage data holdings, perform data manipulation, and conduct metadata taggingthat adhere to standards and policies
Execute and employ automated processes during the production cycle to increase efficiencies
Evaluate current workflows, processes, and methodologies and make recommendations for improving upon those frameworks that will increase overall productivity
Ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues as they arise during the production process
Required Qualifications:
Requires TS/SCI Clearance
3+ years of relevant experience. (A combination of years of experience and professional certifications/trainings can be used in conjunction with a degree)
Experience using ArcGIS and extensions and additional Esri software
Ability to write and apply SQL Queries
Expertise in editing, merging, and conflating geospatial data
Ability to work within a team environment to achieve project milestones and goals
Possess effective communications skills; capable of providing highlydetailed information in an easy-to-understand format
Desired Qualifications:
Knowledge of NGA Products and Services
Proficiency in QGIS, Open GEO, Geoserver, and/or PostGIS
Experience in creating visualizations and web cartography
Knowledge in working with foundational GEOINT data, features, and derivatives
Exposure to Feature Manipulation Engine (FME)
Expertise in working with Esri SDEs
Experience supporting IC operations
