AECOM is seeking an experienced Civil Engineer to serve as a Senior CMI Project Manager / Deputy CMI Market Sector Lead in support of our growing Construction Management and Inspection (CMI) transportation business throughout Northern Virginia and the District of Columbia.Responsibilities of this role include, but may not be limited to, the following: Manage all phases of Construction Management and Inspection (CMI) projects from planning through closeout, ensuring quality, schedule, and budget objectives are achievedServe as the primary point of contact for clients, contractors, and project stakeholders, fostering strong relationships and delivering exceptional client serviceProvide technical leadership and guidance on constructability reviews, field engineering challenges, and construction-related issues throughout project executionApply extensive construction management experience to support project owners, field staff, and multidisciplinary teams in resolving complex technical and operational issuesLead, mentor, and develop project teams, promoting collaboration, accountability, and professional growth among engineers, inspectors, and technical staffCoordinate and oversee the work of engineers, inspectors, and technicians, ensuring resources are effectively managed to meet project objectivesInterpret, organize, execute, and coordinate technical assignments requiring sound engineering judgment and knowledge of transportation construction practicesCollaborate with internal disciplines and external stakeholders to support project delivery, resolve technical issues, and ensure effective communication across all phases of the projectExercise independent judgment in resolving technical and project management matters while operating with minimal supervision and broad administrative directionSupport business development efforts by identifying opportunities, maintaining client relationships, and assisting with the preparation of proposals and project pursuitsEnsure compliance with contract requirements, applicable regulations, quality standards, and AECOM policies and procedures
