As part of the AWS Infrastructure organization, Data Center Planning and Delivery (DCPD) prepares for, plans, and builds the data centers that comprise the AWS cloud.We’re seeking an experienced Technical Infrastructure Program Manager in Seattle, WA to oversee data center build projects. Technical Infrastructure Program Manager will lead cross-functional and technical teams from conceptual design feasibility through requirements, budget, completed design, implementation, testing, and deployment. Along the way, you will use your judgment, negotiation skills, ability to influence without authority, analytical talent, technical aptitude, and leadership to collaborate with a diverse set of stakeholders across multiple time zones, manage capital budgets, eliminate non-value-add activity, design solutions, remove blockers, and find creative ways to accelerate project delivery.The successful candidate will be a strong communicator (both written and verbal), not be hindered by ambiguity or competing priorities, and be capable of understanding mechanical/electrical engineering concepts. They will be able to apply a variety of project management tools, methodologies and techniques for all phases of the project lifecycle and exhibit demonstrated experience in core project management disciplines including scope, schedule, budget, resources, quality and risk management, reporting and metric development/tracking. Other requirements include experience with MS Office, MS Project and MS SharePoint. Working with stakeholder teams to map dependencies, create and drive schedules, as well as think big to solve some of our biggest challenges! We're looking for a highly organized, attention to detail, problem solver with the ability to dive deep into critical path items. This is a high judgement role to deliver capacity to our end customers.We are open to hiring candidates to work out of one of the following locations:Arlington, VA, USA | Herndon, VA, USA | Seattle, WA, USABasic Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree AND 5+ years of project management experience OR 8+ years of project management experience (experience can be substituted for degree).

6+ years of experience in core project management disciplines including scope, schedule, budget, quality, along with risk and critical path management.

5+ years of experience in analytical, quantitative, communication, and presentations.

2+ Years of experience with MS Project, MS Office, and MS SharePoint.

Preferred Qualifications

Master’s Degree or advanced professional degree.

Master’s Degree or advanced professional certifications in management of complex, high value technology infrastructure projects.

Good understanding of data center technologies.

Experience in managing data center infrastructure deployments.

Experience with and deep understanding of multiple project management methodologies.

Well organized and able to work effectively under time pressure.

The base pay for this position ranges from $118,900/year in our lowest geographic market up to $231,300/year in our highest geographic market.
