Position SummaryMAG Aerospace has an opportunity for a Test Support Technician in the Aviation Security Technology Industry. The Test Support Technician supports developmental test and evaluation tasks, including test set-up, execution, and data collection at the TSA System Integration Facility in Arlington Virginia. Supported activities include observation of corrective & preventive maintenance; installations, removals, and relocations; upgrades; and deliveries.This Role Does Not Support Remote WorkEssential Duties and ResponsibilitiesDuties include, but not limited to:
Maintaining accurate system logs of all activity
Observing Site Acceptance Tests, System Installations, Movement & Decommissioning
Escorting visitors and vendors
Test Equipment Setup
Data Collection
RequirementsMinimum Requirements
Ability to obtain and maintain a TSA suitability clearance.
US Citizenship and the ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret Security Clearance.
Prior experience as a DHS/TSA Transportation Security Officer
Minimum years of related experience required :
4 years experience as aDHS/TSA Transportation Security Officer
Education
HS diploma/GED
AA/AS or 2-year Technical School Certificate in Information Technology
Physical requirements
Must be able to stand for long periods.
Must be able to lift fifty pounds.
