Our employees consider the company to be a solid partner in their career, with an abundance of opportunities for advancement.Job Description: The United States Refugee Program (USRAP) Business Advocate I works closely with Resettlement Support Centers (RSCs), PRM, Refugee Operations at the Refugee Processing Center and other external stakeholders to supportdevelopment of the Worldwide Refugee Admissions Processing System (WRAPS). WRAPS is a web-based case management system and reporting tool that assists in managing refugee processing activities.RSC Business Advocates ensure they work within and across collaborative environments both internally and externally to document stakeholder policy, procedures, processes and needs.Responsibilities:
Provide Subject Matter Expertise (SME) in Refugee Processing
Document requirements, process models and other artifacts to be used indevelopment of the Worldwide Refugee Admissions Processing System (WRAPS). WRAPS is a web-based case management system and reporting tool that assists in managing refugee processing activities.
Create Use Cases, User Stories, Requirements Traceability Matrixes, Test Cases and other work products as required
Lead presentations, elicitation sessions, conferences calls, webinars and other tools and technologies to gather and disseminate information with domestic and international partners
Work with the Software Development Team to prepare and groom a Product Backlog
Designs or defines system architecture for new or existing computer systems.
Oversee requirements tracking process; assign requirements to the appropriate service provider; and communicate status to customers
Document requirements and provide final technical review and validation of requirements
Coordinate and facilitate exchange meetings to determine needs of customers; as well as to determine the impact of changes
Provides input for documentation on new or existing systems
Support the collection and reporting of requirements related metrics
Verify completion of requirements with customer and service providers; ensuring expectations are appropriately met
May provide guidance and work leadership to less-experienced staff
Maintain current knowledge of relevant technology as assigned
Participate in special projects as assigned.
Travel required on occasion.
EducationA Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college, or the equivalent combination of education, technical training, or work experience.Qualifications
Minimum of 8 years of progressive Business Analysis, Requirements
Refugee Processing experience preferred
Clearance Required
