Description We are offering a contract for a Data Center Technician role in Ashburn, Virginia. In this position, you will be responsible for managing infrastructure installation requests, coordinating with various teams, and overseeing equipment procurement.Responsibilities: Manage all infrastructure installation requests from initiation to completion Serve as a liaison with the IT, Project Management, and engineering teams Collaborate with electrical contractors to ensure all service levels are met Provide detailed project estimations and document requirements by interpreting schematics and drawings Oversee customer ticketing system, including monitoring for approval and closing out or canceling tickets once work is complete Supervise power remediation processes from start to finish Assist in managing rack level capacity and monitoring operations Participate in meetings related to infrastructure work or projects Conduct root cause analysis reports surrounding power issues Coordinate infrastructure installations including surveys for power installs, infrastructure and rack installs, and surveys for infrastructure cabling Oversee equipment procurement, including ordering all infrastructure materials, tracking purchase orders, and monitoring infrastructure stock.
