Director, SASE

Located in Ashburn office, Director, Secure Access and Enforcement will play a critical role in overseeing the daily operations of the cybersecurity team of 8-12 members supporting a global mission. This role involves leading a team that operates and maintains the Visa enterprise Secure Access Service Edge capability including the Cloud Access Security Broker, OpenDNS, DLP solutions and other related components. The position reports to the Senior Director, Cyber Operations & Discovery and requires hands-on involvement during problem identification and resolution activities. It demands a blend of technical expertise and leadership capabilities to ensure the security of Visa's on-prem and cloud environments as well as managing and mentoring a team of cybersecurity analysts.Essential Functions:Manage and mentor a team of cybersecurity analysts, providing technical guidance and professional development.Provides guidance to less-experienced team members. Review and evaluate incidents worked by team members to ensure we adhere to standard procedures and quality entries to the incidents.Drives innovations within the team.Participate and drive strategic initiatives.Provide in-depth technical direction and support for operational security issues.Support troubleshooting and resolving issues related to SASE capabilities (e.g. Palo Alto Network’s Prisma and Zscalar).Provide technical guidance in developing Standard Operating Procedures for technical efforts in security related operational areas.Oversee the monitoring, analysis, and resolution of incidents and trouble tickets associated with SASE systems, and tools issues for its team.Ensure team compliance with established Service Level Agreements (SLAs) to guarantee timely responses.Lead, support, or contribute to incident bridges stewardship for timely resolution of internal issues.Prioritize and handle escalations from within the team and other cybersecurity service lanes.Analyze and report operational security key performance and risk metrics to drive program improvements.Propose automation ideas to gain efficiency and improve processes.Build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders.Consistently demonstrate Visa leadership principles.Maintain and achieve new technical skills for respective team.This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office 2-3 set days a week (determined by leadership/site), with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% or more of the time based on business needs.
