We are looking for a Sr. Software Engineer to join Visa's Cybersecurity Product Development team, focusing on our microsegmentation platform. This team is responsible for designing, implementing, and supporting all Visa microsegmentation requirements in container environments, both on-premises and in the cloud.Ideal candidates will have solid Golang programming experience, familiarity with Kubernetes and containers in general, and experience with microservice architecture. They should be skilled in using DevOps tools and be good team players with clear and precise communication skills. The ability to work well with the team and possess interpersonal skills to reach solution resolution amid diverse opinions.Essential Functions:Participate in group discussions to understand system architecture and requirements, and create clear designs with supporting diagramsCreate Jira tickets based on requirements, implement features by the due date, and write unit test codeParticipate in group standups, provide timely status updates, and review pull requests with constructive feedbackRemediate container image vulnerabilities assigned to you by the deadlineInteract with group members and other Visa teams as necessary, and support production issues on demand with strong troubleshooting skillsThis is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office 2-3 set days a week (determined by leadership/site), with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% or more of the time based on business needs.
