Description Account SpecialistDepartment: SalesReports to: VP of SalesFLSA Status: Non-exempt (eligible for overtime pay) Work Location: On-site at BC Wood Products in Ashland, VirginiaWork Hours: Monday – Friday, 8 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.(with occasional overtime and some flexibility)Job Summary:The Account Specialist manages the entire customer ordering process that includes coordination with multiple departments, document control, handling initial customer queries and problem resolution.Essential Duties/Responsibilities:Manage Sales email and timely communicate with customers on order status and customer inquiresProcess all orders in SAPMaintain order and production sheet workflowTroubleshoot and resolve order discrepancies as neededProcess, audit and file various documentation on a timely basisUpdate and monitor shipping planAttend daily production meetingUpdate customer prices in SAP as neededProvide knowledgeable answers to questions about products, pricing, deliveries and availabilityOther job duties as requiredJob Requirements:High School diploma or equivalent4 years of customer-facing work experience preferredProficiency in Microsoft Office and SAP Business One preferredExcellent organizational skills and attention to detailStrong time management skills with proven ability to meet deadlinesDesire to provide the best possible experience for our customersThrive in a fast-paced environmentPay: $21.00 - $25.00 per hourBenefits:401(k)401(k) matchingDental insuranceEmployee assistance programHealth insuranceHealth savings accountPaid time offVision insuranceBC Wood Products is the largest industrial manufacturer of custom wooden pallets and crates in Virginia.
