NGA Programs Director

DescriptionSAIC is seeking an NGA Program Director (PD) to support the Intelligence Space Market within our Mission Integration Account. This position requires an active TS/SCI Clearance . Work can be performed from St. Louis , or Northern Virginia (preferred) .This role focuses on three key areas:

Delivery: Managing and developing projects and programs responsible for delivery success within the NGA portfolio.

Strategic Execution: Build and enhance the portfolio’s account operations and execution for integration with the NGA Customer

Growth: Partner with Business Development to drive activities to expand our work within the NGA market. This includes traditional BD / capture as well as on-contract growth within the current project portfolio.

The NGA PD reports to the VP, Mission Integration & Ground account to manage P&L activities and grow mission and technology integration in the NGA customer market. NGA PD will provide P&L leadership of new mission integration bids, champion customer relationship management and manage the day-to-day execution of the NGA portfolio. Position will be hybrid with minimum of 50% time expected in-facility and 25% travel expected.Successful candidate, will have significant experience with the NGA customer, be able to act independently and lead matrixed teams to effective business outcomes. Job responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Identify and represent Account leadership in the win/growth of new NGA business and captures

Manage development projects to create new capabilities with focus on software systems providing data and analytics to mission users, utilizing modern software practices

Evolve IT strategies, concepts, standards, concepts, architectures and related roadmaps to steer SAIC programs in alignment with NGA goals

Manage and inspire a direct reporting team of Program Managers through all phases of project lifecycles with profit & loss accountability.

Ensure achievement of financial, schedule, technical, and new business performance objectives

Demonstrate visible leadership across the portfolio, leading by example to deliver program performance excellence.

Communicate effectively and work cross functionally in a highly matrixed organization to achieve results.

Actively develop and execute a strategy to support the NGA business and technology growth plan

Qualifications

Active TS/SCI Security Clearance.

A Bachelor's degree and 10+ years of experience in Program or Project management.

Broad understanding of NGA market and portfolio with a background in Geospatial, GIS, GEOINT or agency contacts desired

Familiarity with Agile Development and DevSecOps (DSO) with mission expertise in delivery of software systems using modern software practices in cloud and hybrid cloud environments

Experience in supporting DoD and Intelligence Community.

Ability to work full time from the Northern Virginia area desired.
