The Assistant Professor of Practice will teach courses across the programs within the Center for Public Safety and Justice (CPSJ). Additionally, this position will serve as the Director of Strategic Partnerships and Research for the CPSJ, responsible for cultivating partnerships and securing research collaborations that align with the Center’s mission. This high-level role focuses on expanding CPSJ’s reach and impact by building relationships with public safety agencies, community organizations, academic institutions, and private sector stakeholders. The director strategically seeks and develops funding opportunities, research innovative approaches to public safety challenges, and ensures the Center’s work is both well-resourced and impactful, establishing CPSJ as a national leader in public safety and justice initiatives. This position would oversee graduate research fellows and direct research initiatives.Education:A master's degree from a regionally-accredited institution in public safety, public affairs, criminal justice or related field.
