The Department of Medicine, Division of Hematology/Oncology at the University of Virginia, seeks candidates for a clinical faculty position at the Assistant/Associate/or Full Professor level, with subspecialty focus on leukemia and bone marrow failure disorders as a clinician/investigator. Clinical track, rank, and tenure status are dependent upon qualifications.The successful candidate will strengthen the clinical and clinical research efforts in leukemia utilizing the excellent translational research opportunities and resources available at the University. Additionally, the incumbent will attend inpatient and outpatient services and participate in multidisciplinary team care and clinical research within the Cancer Center, for a growing number of patients with leukemia and other marrow failure disorders. As an integral part of the educational mission, the incumbent will actively participate in the teaching of fellows, residents, and medical students.
