Brasserie Saison is looking to hire all Front of House staff for the busy Spring season. Though weâve only been open for two years, we have established ourselves as Charlottesvilleâs premier hospitality-driven restaurant. This means our staff is engaged, curious, excited, and enthusiastic about what they do!
We are looking for:
Lunch & dinner Hosts with a strong sense of organization, a warm and welcoming personality, and a desire to create a great dining experience from start to finish. The host team is the first and the last face that our guests see and are integral to our success. Experience is preferred, but we will teach the right individual.
Support Staff AKA our cavalry. Our cavalry team is the glue that holds the Brasserie together. They run food, clear tables, reset the room, and work closely with our servers to provide a great dining experience. Our most successful individuals are able to work clean, quickly and take direction well. We prefer to promote from within, and this is a great way for an individual with some restaurant experience to work their way up our ladder to serving.
Lunch & dinner Servers with a year or two of experience preferred. Ideal person would have good wine, beer, and spirit knowledge with a fine dining background. But we love to teach!
Bartenders: ideal candidate has at least two years of experience behind the bar with thorough knowledge of beer, wine and classic cocktails and is BarSmarts and/or Cicerone certified, or willing to become so within six months AND has some serving experience as well. A perfectly good candidate has one year of bar experience with good working knowledge and curiosity and is willing to learn a ton while working hard.
