Small, but busy CPA firm seeking a bookkeeper/office administrator - immediate opening. This position will entail a little bit of everything and a willingness to jump in and help out is appreciated.
The right person should have a good common sense attitude, independent thinker, be ready to work each day, great organizational and interpersonal skills as well be able to go with the flow while meeting various deadlines. A willingness to learn new things, reliable and detail oriented with good data entry skills.
Knowledge skills include Excel, QuickBooks (data entry, transactional classification, account reconciliations), sales tax returns, payroll processing, payroll tax returns, business license and property returns, 1099s, and other tasks as assigned.
Work schedule is somewhat flexible outside of tax season. Full time hours during tax season and possibly beyond for the right person or if desired.
