Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, fixtures, and equipment in commercial buildings, including offices, retail spaces, warehouses, and industrial facilities.
Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams to determine the layout and wiring requirements for electrical installations.
Follow local, state, and national electrical codes and safety regulations to ensure compliance and maintain a safe working environment.
Troubleshoot electrical problems using testing equipment and diagnostic tools to identify issues and implement effective solutions.
The essential functions of this role include:
working in a smoke free environment
wearing steel toe shoes
working in a non-temperature controlled environment
manual lifting up to 50lbs
standing for 5 hours at one time
Skills
Electrical Systems Knowledge (5 years of experience is preferred)
Blueprint Reading
Wiring and Installation (5 years of experience is required)
