Bring your expertise and collaborative skills to make an impact towards our military defense and safety of our sailors by discovering your new role supporting this critical mission.Serco is seeking an experienced Sr. Project/Program Manager to lead various projects supporting US Naval and Military contracts and bring your expertise and collaborative skills to make an impact towards our military defense and safety of our sailors.In this role, you will:

Be responsible for managing operational and technical aspects ofHull, Mechanical, and Electricalwaterfront/maritime project(s) and related task orders for GOVT customer(s) with revenue ranging from $15 - $35M

Develop programs to support the success and growth of company initiatives

Conduct cost management through continual cost control and review

Provide planning and technical oversight of US Naval Activities in the maintenance and installation of Shipboard systems

Provide expert solutions and recommendations to customers to ensure resolution of issues

Typically manages a team of 30 or more employees, including managers

Other duties and tasks as assigned

QualificationsTo be successful in this role, you will have:

Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret Clearance

Successfully undergo a Background Investigation, Drug Screen, and obtain access to Naval Bases and other ship repair facilities.

Ability to obtain DBIDS

This position supports a U.S. Government Contract whose terms require Serco to staff it only with U.S. Citizens.

A Bachelor's Degreein Engineering or Naval Architecture.

10 years of managerial or supervisory experience (Experiencein engineering projects involving modernization (SHIPALTs/SCs), maintenance, installation, repair or testing of naval ship HM&E or electronic systems/equipment highly preferred)

5 years experience in the development and installation of Alteration/SCs on Navy ships

Advanced knowledge and understanding of work project(s) and functions.

Be familiar with NAVSEA, standard concepts, practices, and procedures within the field of electrical repair, fabrication, and installation.

Knowledge of Navy organizations including: Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEACOM); Naval Surface Warfare Center (NSWC); Naval Shipyards; Regional Maintenance Centers (RMCs); and Type Commanders (TYCOMs).

Willing to work second shifts as needed and more than 40 hours work weeks.

Be willing to travel up to 10% of the time.
