The people supporting and securing some of the most complex government, defense, and intelligence projects across the country.In this role, a typical day will include:Monitors network hardware operations to ensure properly set configuration options. Plans implementation of enhancements and upgrades to the network; performs cost/benefit studies of network configurations and recommends enhancements; directs acquisition, installation, and testing of network hardware; advises network users of hardware requirements, configurations, and limitations; and isolates, resolves, or circumvents network problems. May provide daily supervision and direction to support staff.REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:Eight years experience analyzing, identifying and resolving complex network hardware, circuit, and transmission logic problems orNo Degree - 11 years or related experience orMA/MS - 5 years of related experienceDemonstrated expertise in Network Architecture and Implantation for Hybrid Cloud environments including on-premise to cloud connectivity using VPN, AWS DirectConnect and connecting with external federal systems.Expert knowledge of Cloud based Identity management capabilities including Single-sign on and integration with external IdP(Okta), Internet Protocol (IP) networking, VPNs, DNS routing, load balancing and firewalling, IPv4 to IPv6, TIC.Experience in providing Analysis of Alternatives for networking tools and capabilities from various on premise, Cloud-based, and hybrid resourcesExpert knowledge of configuring AWS cloud native services such as AWS Route 53, IAM, VPC, NACLs, AWS Firewall Manager, Subnets, Security Groups.Experience with Agile (Scrum, Kanban) and DevSecOps methodologies.Certifications (Mandatory): Cisco Network certificationsCertifications (Preferred): AWS Certified Advanced Networking Specialty​WHAT GDIT CAN OFFER YOU
