Our work depends on a BMC Helix Asset Administrator with expertise in BMC CMDB, Client Management, and Discovery. Our team implemented BMC Helix as an enterprise-wide IT Service Management (ITSM) solution for a federal government agency and is building out additional capabilities.This Asset Management Technical Role supports and integrates all ITSM designed Asset Management processes into the customer’s organization. Utilizing expertise in BMC Client Management, this resource will focus on installing BMC Client Management servers and agents, with little to no customization. Responsible for transferring data from BMC Client Management into the existing ITSM solution. Cross-training and supporting BMC Discovery may also be required.How You Will Make an Impact
Supports the Asset Manager and ITSM Team Leads in day-to-day tasks in quality assurance, delivering contract deliverables, and reporting.
Facilitates and/or attends requirements gathering sessions for asset management design supporting the process, specifically for Asset Management.
Serves as liaison between process and project management operations teams to capture workflow requirements.
Documents processes and workflows for usability across the IT organization and in the organization’s deployed toolsets.
Attends all Asset Management meetings.
Regularly reviews existing IT processes for effectiveness and efficiency; identifies improvement opportunities
Works towards integration across all related processes in the ITSM toolset.
Supports process improvement by defining workflows, value streams, and process metrics.
Participates in testing activities for asset toolsets to ensure workflow and process are aligned.
Develops technical documentation as required and supports process documentation.
Maintains knowledge and expertise in industry process best practices and trends, as well as ITSM supporting toolsets.
Requires effective verbal and written communications skills to consult with management, business partners and vendors.
Highly collaborative ethic and experience working in global teams/organizations.
What You'll Need to Succeed
Required Experience: Minimum of 7+ years of Asset Management Development.
Required Education or Certifications: ITILv3 or v4 Foundations or 2 Intermediate BMC Certifications.
Preferred Education: Bachelor's Degree in IT Management or related field.
Preferred Certification: BMC Certification(s) in Client Management
Required Skills: BMC Helix with BMC Client Management and Discovery; building relationships and cross-functional team collaboration.
Preferred Technical Skills: ISO and CMMI process audits.
US Citizenship Required for Public Trust.

The likely salary range for this position is $109,650 - $148,350. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary.
