Description Looking to hire an immediate Collections Specialist in our Fairfax, Virginia location. As a Collections Specialist, you will be part of a dynamic team in the mortgage division. The Collections Specialist role will be handling customer service inquiries and collections support, with a focus on maintaining accuracy and efficiency in customer credit records and applications. Responsibilities: Handle customer service inquiries and provide solutions. Support the collections team by following up with customers regarding overdue payments. Maintain and update customer credit records accurately. Process customer credit applications efficiently. Use MS Office suite to manage data and perform data entry tasks. Send notifications to customers regarding their account status via email and mail. Ensure all customer accounts are monitored and appropriate action is taken when necessary. Continually learn and adapt to new information and techniques in your role. Contribute to a team effort by accomplishing related results as needed. Uphold the high standard of customer service by responding to inquiries promptly and resolving issues efficiently.Requirements Position requires 2 years of provided customer service support in an office setting Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite is essential for the role. Proven experience in Customer Service is a key requirement. Ability to communicate effectively and professionally with customers. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion. Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy in all work. Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
