Manages a team while serving as the state agency’s point of contact for the technical staff and primary technical subject matter expert.

The Data Warehouse Manager shall provide business and technical expertise for the development and implementation of Business Intelligence Solutions (BIS).

Responsible for creation, improvement and/or implementation of Medicaid / Clinical / Health Claims Data Warehouse and potential future Data Lake systems.

Keeps well-informed of industry best practices and trends and then plans and advises for implementation.

Responsible for the employment, training, motivation and evaluation of assigned staff.

May lead planning and policy development issues.

WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO SUCCEED

A bachelor's degree in IT/ computer science or similar related major.

Promote strong collaboration within a cross functional team, including design and product management;

Be a strong contributor to the product vision and leadership driver for team;

Mentor and coach team members;

Possess a minimum experience of two (2) years in healthcare, and Medicaid domain;

Strong CS fundamentals, including proficiency with data structures, algorithms, and distributed systems;

Minimum of seven (7) years of experience managing data warehouses;

Broad knowledge of Database administration tool sets;

Experience with Database software installation, upgrades, management, troubleshooting, design, support (including backups and recovery), data migration techniques, and Database security;

Extensive experience using and tuning SQL. Knowledge of SaS, Innovaccer, Snowflake, MuleSoft, and Informatica is Preferred;

Experience with Database conversions from disparate systems(s);

Significant experience managing operational Databases including handling complex migrations with mission critical applications;

Extensive experience dealing with Sensitive Data, HIPAA and healthcare Industry Standards and regulations; and

Strong experience in data validation and reconciliation and quality assurance process.

Preferred Skills/Background:

Lead and participate in technical, design, and product discussions relating to the different product capabilities and workloads (OLTP, OLAP, ML, AI) towards building a resilient and robust Query platform for the Snowflake database

Developing cloud distributed database system

This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.Our benefits package for all US-based employees includes a variety of medical plan options, some with Health Savings Accounts, dental plan options, a vision plan, and a 401(k) plan offering the ability to contribute both pre and post-tax dollars up to the IRS annual limits and receive a company match.
